11 Fashion & Beauty Brands Donating To LGBTQ+ Organizations

June is Pride Month, and these brands are stepping up and giving back to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Month originated as a way to commemorate the Stonewall Riots in New York City that ended in June of 1969. The Stonewall Riots were spontaneous demonstrations by the gay community in response to a police raid at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. A tipping point in the Gay Liberation Movement, the community initially commemorated the Stonewall Riots for a day at the end of June, but it has since evolved into a month-long commemoration.

Popular brands like Apple, Converse, Levi’s, and others often dedicate huge resources during Pride Month to LGBTQ nonprofit organizations (among them, Vasque Shoes The Trevor Project, GLSEN, and additional groups), which means you could be helping others gain access to valuable resources, too.

Here are 11 brands to consider shopping for Pride 2022, which may help you uncover new ways to celebrate love, diversity, and inclusivity during this joyful season.
